If you think that the Walt Disney World theme parks only have rides and attractions that are suitable for youngger children then you are very much mistaken. The four Themeparks are home to some of the best thrill rides in the world. Here are five you should add to your list if you are a thrill seeker.
1. Mission: Space – Epcot
For most of us this attraction is the closest we'll ever come to feeling the sensation of blasting off into space. The attraction uses the same technology that NASA use when they're preparing their astronauts for a space flight. You will feel the G force as the space vehicle races through space.
2. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster – Disney's Hollywood Studios
This indoor coaster shoots you from 0 to 57 miles an hour in just 2.8 seconds; is that thrill enough for you? The attraction is themed an aerosmith concert; you are invited to be a VIP at the gig, but in order to get there you need to board a limo which will take you on a high-speed journey through the LA freeways to get you to the show on time. Speaks in your "limousine" blare out Aerosmith's greatest hits.
3. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – Disney's Hollywood Studios
After you've experienced your Aerosmith gig you should head next door to the Hollywood Hotel where you will find yourself transported into an episode of the classic TV show The Twilight Zone. You'll board a service elevator in the boiler room and then be whisked 13 stories up to the very top of the hotel. The thrill part of the ride comes when without any warning at all your car plummets 13 stories straight down the elevator shaft!
4. Expedition Everest – Disney's Animal Kingdom
At the bottom of this great mountain you are invited to board an old tea train and go off in search of the infamous Yeti. When you reach the top of the mountain your plans are suddenly changed as the Yeti has ripped up your train track. before you realize what's happening you find yourself hurtling back through the darkness!
5. Crush n Gusher – Typhoon Lagoon
You do not have to find a traditional coaster to experience a thrill ride in Walt Disney World, over at Typhoon Lagoon you can ride Florida's first water coaster. Aboard a rubber ring you'll be blasted off into a number of twists and turns helped along by huge jets of water. If you think this is a water slide then you're in for a surprise.
