Pop Up Gazebos – The Difference Between Pop Up and Garden Gazebos

Pop up gazebos are a revolution to gazebos. Unlike most garden gazebos, pop up gazebos come all in one piece and are simple to put up. It can take minutes.

Gazebos are essential for any garden. Their main concept is to offer you and your family protection from the sun. If you enjoy sitting out in your garden, but can’t stay out there too long because of the sun, then a gazebo is a must for you. It provides you with a cool, shaded area where you can relax, without the risk of dehydration, heat stroke or sunburn.

But if you’re shopping for your first gazebo, you may find yourself confused by the difference between a normal garden gazebo and a pop up gazebo. What are the differences between the two?

Garden Gazebos:

Despite the fact that both types of gazebos provide you with the exact same benefits, their structural designs are completely different. The usual garden gazebo consists of an assortment of poles that slot and lock together. These are then connected to form the basic structure of your gazebo.

A polyethylene cover is then pulled over the structure. These are usually fitted sheets, and fit snugly over the frame. A strip also comes down and attaches to the legs, to hide the bareness of the pole. These help to secure the cover to the structure.

Because of the design of these gazebos, sometimes they are not always easy to build. The poles need to be matched together before they can be connected, and the structure needs to be lifted as you insert the legs. If other poles are not connected properly when you do this, sometimes the structure can break apart, bringing you back to square one. A group is necessary to complete this often fiddly process.

Pop Up Gazebos

The putting up part of pop up gazebos is so much less complex. The structure is all connected by hinges, and so no fiddly assembly is required. The hinges enable the gazebo to be folded up, and when erecting, it only takes a maximum of four people to complete. With a person positioned on each corner, all that is required is for them to pull. The folded up structure will open out, and then you can throw over the cover, whether it be polyethylene or cotton, extend the legs, and hey-presto! One erected pop-up gazebo.

Despite the fact that four people are still needed to put the structure up, the design of it is so simple and uncomplicated that it can be done in a matter of minutes. If you aren’t one for complex designs and fiddly instructions to follow, then pop up gazebos are the design for you.
